The 2011 Rampage was a fun race. But it
showed us the challenges that this new season brings. We lost several key
teenage riders over the winter -- racers who would have increased our team
point total by over 30% in this race. Many team mates moved up to harder categories.
The team is now "thin" in the Beginner and Sport categories. We
took 2nd place in the team competition at the Rampage. That's OK. UMB
traditionally gets tough in the second half of the season.
