Utah Mountain Biking Trail News

Trails on the western side of Lake Mountain (above Eagle Mountain City Center), includes Fair 'n Square, Valley View, Cliffside, AC-DC, Chasing The Sun, Samsara.

Set of short practice loops across from the main Eagle Mountain (Hidden Valley) trailhead. Great for beginners and kids, as well as for a quickie ride when time is limited!

Short loops just above the trailhead at Eagle Mountain for quick sessions.

The La Gringa, Bugs Bunny, and Apollo trails make a nice route on the eastern side of the Lake Mountain ridgeline. Great views!

1.1-mile trail from JEM down to the Hurricane Rim trail, creates a nice loop ride with eastern Hurricane Rim.

The Stucki Spine (aka 40-plus) is a 1.9 mile DH with 440 vertical drop, connecting the south side of the Stucki Springs Loop to Hoj Wash near Bloomington. Minimum ride 8.6 miles w 800 vert, some navigation skills required.

Loop ride at Snowbasin, a bit over 5 miles. Very pretty forested ride on twisty trail with optional tech. Also used as a race loop.

The Dwarf Trails are expert-level hand-built singletrack on the western side of the Jordanelle Ridge (Coyote) system. Bofur's Climb is an uphill-only trail leading to two-way Bifur, Nori, and Dori. This route can be combined with expert-level downhills nearby.

The Beware of Doug trail is a lariat loop at the highest point of Traverse Mountain on Draper's "Far Side." Easy riding, great views. Page updated July 2025 to include the stem of the loop.
