Snowbasin
Basin Bash XC - Season Finale -
Saturday July 30, 2011A light cloud cover
kept the morning cool as racers flew around Snowbasin's excellent trail
system. In the final race of the season, UMB outscored Mad Dog -- but fell
short of the season championship. The riding was fun, with a combination
of smooth swooping singletrack and rocky challenging rough stuff. First-place winners at the Snowbasin
race were Rachel Hutchings and Joel Quinn. Seth Hejny, Jason Sparks, and
Richard Ewell were our second-place finishers.

So close. Soooo close. The UtahMountainBiking team came
within a few points of winning the 2011 Intermountain Cup championship.
Congratulations to an excellent Mad Dog racing team; good sports and
friendly adversaries.
This season was great fun. Hard to believe it's over already. Time to move
on to Endurance races and then Cyclocross. By the way, the next ICup race is March 3,
2012. Be ready!More pictures:
