Deer Valley Pedalfest
Deer Valley - June 9, 2007 Deer
Valley had perfect conditions, as a recent soaking rain left just the
right amount of grip in the soil with no slippery spots. UMB fielded 25
racers, with 13 scoring team points. The weather was a sunny but cool
"just right" for fast riding. We had first place finishes by Justin
Griffin, Carlee Hunsaker, and Dave Larsen, with second-places by Todd Neumarker and Kellie
Williams. Photo: Holly Nelson

The Deer Valley race tied our smallest
turnout in the 7 races of this season. We especially missed our young
beginning riders -- but so did all the other teams, as these categories
had only one or two participants. Must be the call of summer... We took a
close 2nd in the team competition. A big
thanks to all who were able to make it to Deer Valley. It was a beautiful
day on a great trail.
Photo: Justin is a little bored with the award
ceremony, so he's practicing his "air time."
A
big "thank you" to Jay
Griffin for the awesome race photos!
