Five Mile Pass
West of Lehi - May 1, 2010While
sleet and snow pounded the Wasatch Front, Five Mile pass was dry and dusty

the start line, UMB had few mechanical disasters. The team
scored another convincing win, with Justin Griffin, Mark Messer, and Jay
Griffin taking 1st places, and Hattie Ransom, Ryan Anderson, Darren
Harris, Jason Sparks, and Cat Finlayson getting 2nd place finishes.

A lot of racers stayed home from Five Mile
Pass because the weather looked nasty. Not UtahMountainBiking! Our riders
showed up and gave it their best, to come away with a team victory that
puts us solidly in the lead for the 2010 Intermountain Cup Team
Championship. To our new riders, Welcome and congratulations! And to our
veterans: You've shown why we're a team to be loved, and a team to be
feared! But there are still 10 races to go. Let's have fun and get faster.
