Snowbird Mountain Bout
Little Cottonwood Canyon - July 14, 2007 It
was a beautiful sunny day at Snowbird. Temperatures were nice overall
despite the blistering heat in the valley. Yes, it got a little warm
climbing the notorious Dick Bass trail. But it was a great day to be
riding in the mountains. Our racer numbers were small, but we earned an impressive ratio of team-points
per rider. We fought to a close 2nd behind Revolution. First-place finishes: Justin Griffin, Catherine Reay, Kellie
Williams. Second-place: Stephen Bergen, Bruce Argyle. Photo: Brad
Snead powers through a turn in a meadow of the 'Bird Trail. |

16 racers wore the UMB colors at Snowbird.
For the second week in a row, we set a record for smallest turnout of the season.
Yes, it's a tough race, but the setting is very pretty. (Jolene doesn't
dare look over her shoulder here, but the views are spectacular!) And who
said racing should be easy? We're tough, and the toughest of the tough
race at Snowbird.
Thanks to Jay Griffin for taking
team photos at Snowbird
