Jan 28.
6 inches of new snow yesterday!
Ride course. Middle is fairly easy. The Luge
is pretty tough. Spent an hour clearing spots. |
Jan 28. Lambert's Luge northbound.
Tough
riding, tricky, and occasional hike-a-bike, even
after we've stomped and shuffled the snow aside. |

Hey! What happened to that trail I just
cleared? Photo on the Spring Connector. |

Feb 1. Four new inches of snow!
Here's the resting bench on the Middle
Trail, near the little tricky double-dip. |
Feb 1. It's possible to ride,
but very
difficult. After the test-ride, I spent
two hours working the shovel. |

Feb 2. Snow and rain has been
falling for most of the past 36 hours.
The tire tracks from yesterday afternoon
are almost completely covered here. |
The trail is buried in 6 inches of very heavy
glop.
It's an almost-impossible
ride today.
Mike and I spend much of the afternoon
clearing Middle, Ziggy, Luge, and
Spring. Again! |

Feb 3. A little touch-up on Friday (about 4 hours
of "touch-up") and the trail is looking good.
No further snow is forecast before racetime.
|
On some sections, there's occasional dirt.
As night falls, we're still working on
ruts from riders during the afternoon.
