Ghost Falls Trail Ghost Falls is a classic ride that's close to civilization. Ghost Falls starts on the Gasline Trail at its uphill end and climbs past the falls to the Ghost Falls trailhead on the Corner Canyon Road. A great option is the Clarks Ghost Loop, done from the Equestrian (Highland Drive) trailhead. (You can a shorter loop by starting at the Coyote Hollow trailhead or at the Ghost Falls trailhead on Corner Canyon Road.) Instead of heading straight for the falls, you head for Clarks Trail. After taking Clarks to Traverse Ridge, you head down the gravel Corner Canyon Road 1/2 mile to find the upper end of the Ghost Falls Trail. This is a fairly technical descent, but great fun. Altitude change by this route is 1200 feet, distance 6.6 miles. |

Getting there (LCC, Equestrian Park trailhead):
Take the Bluffdale exit from I-15 and turn
east towards the mountains. Continue on Highland Drive until you reach the
Equestrian Center parking lot. Directly across the street from the parking,
the Lower Corner Canyon
trail heads uphill (GPS N 40° 30.351' W 111° 50.721'). To
reach the trailhead from the north (Sandy area), take 13th East southward
until it ends at
the stop sign just past the underpass. Turn left and drive 1/4 mile. Copyright 2007 Mad Scientist Software Inc
