Wardsworth Creek. Singletrack climb in Hobble Creek, in and out of the creek up to the ridgeline. Moderate climb, intermediate technical. Season mid-May to October.

Midmountain - Wasatch Crest Loop from Deer Valley. 35-mile epic ride with substantial climbing. Season July through October.

Wasatch Crest - Midmountain Loop Options. Trail page lists multiple options for the epic Wasatch Crest ride starting from Big Cottonwood, Mill Creek, or Park City with links to trail pages and individual GPS tracks. Season July through October.

Western Rim Trail. Awesome 24-mile loop ride on the Colorado River 60 miles east of Moab. Moderate climbing, upper-intermediate technical, mostly singletrack. Terrific views. Cliffside exposures go on for miles. Not for the timid. Season April through November

Whirlwind Loop. Short loop ride in the Horsethief mountain bike riding area, reached via other trails. Intermediate technical. Season March through November.

White Rim Trail. A Must-Ride Classic! 4-wheel drive road through Canyonlands National Park forms a 100-mile loop for multi-day rides. Hammerheads do a brutal one-day version. Permit required to camp. Significant climbing, easier technical. Year-round.

White Rock. Alternate route on Perry Canyon to Grizzly Peak climb, or 10-mile loop ride using lower Grizzly Peak trail. Climb is 10 miles uphill, 4200 vertical feet. Loop has just over 2000 vertical feet of climbing. For stronger climbers. Season June through October.

White Wash. Drop off the mesa on singletrack to open areas of Entrada Sandstone on the shoulders of White Wash, about 20 miles from Green River. White Wash is primarily a motorcycle and ATV area, so bring your mountain bike when you come with a crowd of dust-raisers. No marked trail, open rock for exploration. Season March through November.

Wildcat. Intermediate-technical trail in the Horsethief mountain bike riding area, reached via other trails. Connects the upper Whirlwind Loop to 7-up. Season March through November.
