Inside Passage. Short connector singletrack that bypasses part of the Klondike Bluffs doubletrack trail from the southern parking area. Easy technical, mild climb. Season February through November.

Iron Wash. Sampler of San Rafael riding, with doubletrack, desert singletrack, and very technical (rough) slickrock singletrack. We describe an 18.4-mile loop using the Blue Trail and a portion of the Red Trail, alternate connecting trails (Red Trail, Green Trail, Orange Trail, Five Miles of Hell). Advanced technical overall; reserved for strong, conditioned, skilled riders. Season late April through November.

J-Boy Very fun and scenic technical trail in the eastern side of the Red Fleet trail system. Interconnects with Handsome Cabin Boy and Three Amigos. Short but stiff climbs, technical rock. Season May through October.

Jackalope Singletrack loop west of Vernal at McCoy Flat. Climbs to ridgeline at moderate pace. 8 miles. Intermediate technical. Season late March through November.

Jackson Hole Loop. Brutal 23-mile loop combines the easy Hurrah Pass route with a technical return through Jackson Hole, up an insanely difficult portage climbing the cliffs with your bike on your back, then down the advanced-tech Amassa Back trail. Significant climbing. Season February through November.

Jackson Singletrack. Extremely technical, dangerous, and potential deadly singletrack route from the top of Amasa Back down to Kane Creek. Significant climbing. For true high-experts only! Season April through October.

Jazz Chromoly Dirt singletrack loop near Red Fleet Reservoir north of Vernal, intermediate technical, 6.5 miles. Up-and-down climbing, fun descent. Highly recommended. Narrow trail with soft shoulder; good bike-handling skills recommended. Season March (between storms -- avoid when soil soaked) through early-December.

Jedi Slickrock. Open-riding area on Entrada sandstone across from Bartlett Wash. Can be done with intermediate skills, advanced skills recommended. Season March through November.

Jeremy Ranch 24-7, Stealth Trails Dropout and Team Cutthroat Downhills, Fink Again Trail complex linking Moose Hollow to Glenwild, with one-way DH trails offering small loops down-and-back-up. Season mid-May through September.

Jimmy Keen. Singletrack from the La Sal Loop road meandering Jimmy Keen Flat to join the top of Upper Porcupine Singletrack (UPS). Longer alternative to Kokopelli when riding the Whole Enchilada (adds 5 miles). Season mid-June through October.
