Moosehouse Loop. Via Daly Canyon, this loop joins Ontario Ridge to Empire Link to Johns99 to a descent down Moosehouse and return via Gravedigger. Intermediate tech, 6 miles, moderate climb. Season May through October.

Farmington Bay. Broad smooth cinder roadways on dikes in the waterfowl management area. Easy technical, no climbing. Caution! Goathead thorns are frequently a problem here!

Farmington Flats Loop. Dirt road looping around beautiful valley at 7500 feet, at the top of Farmington Canyon. Easy technical, fairly short, some light climbing. Option of combining with canyon ride for brutal hillclimb! Season late June through September.

Fifth Water Ridge. This 12-mile, 1500-vertical loop ride offers a nice mix of smooth trail and great views with a smattering of short challenges thrown in. The trail starts on Rays Valley Road north of Spanish Fork Canyon, climbs Fifth Water Ridge and circles the Fifth Water drainage before descending. For those looking for more, the lower trailhead at Three Forks gives you a 21-mile, 2700-vertical ride.

Fins & Things. Varying ride on ATV-track, with domes and fins of Navajo sandstone similar to the Slickrock Trail, with doubletrack connectors on desert floor or Kayenta sandstone. Some sand riding. Intermediate technical. Length 10.5 miles, shorter options. Season February through November.

Fire Sale Technical singletrack trail as alternate 2.5 mile section within Retail Sale trail west of Vernal at McCoy Flat. Described ride is 9.2 miles, 800 vertical total climbing. Option of shorter (5 mile) shortcut after completing Fire Sale section. Season late March through November.

Mytoge Mountain. (Fish Lake) Singletrack runs around Fish Lake, climbs Mytoge Mountain to the south. Moderate climb, intermediate technical. Season June through September.

Fisher Mesa. Great singletrack ride starting at 8200 feet elevation, drops 1000 feet for 9-mile out-and-back. Option of (tough!) continued ride to end of mesa and back, 21 miles. Some cliffside exposure. Significant climb, upper-intermediate technical. Season May through September.

Five Miles of Hell. Highly technical (extreme-level skills required) 7 miles on rough slickrock. We describe a 20.6-mile loop. Moderate climbing but in hundreds of short bursts. Reserved for strong, conditioned, skilled riders. Season late April through November.

Five-mile Pass (West of Eagle Mountain). ATV-track loop west of Lehi used for bike races, often clear to ride in winter. Juniper and sage with some views. Frequent but short stiff climbs. Loose rock makes this an upper-intermediate trail. Season March through November, often open in winter.
