Bear River Nature Trails. Paved plus gravel-reinforced trails at Bear River State Park in Evanston, Wyoming. Season mid-May through October.

Beaver Creek. ATV trail in the Uinta Mountains, follows the creek. Easy-moderate technical, gentle climbing. Joins White Pine, North Fork Scenic Byway. Season June through September.

The Bench Creek singletrack loop climbs to top of mountain, then descends via Camp Hollow and Little South Fork singletracks. 5 miles of pavement to close loop. Moderate technical with some log-hops and rock gardens. Very strenuous 17 miles.

Big Pole Canyon. Trail system 5 miles east of Heber. Easy technical riding, mild climbing. Season June through October.

Center Canyon. This is a short trail (about three miles round trip) in the middle of Daniel's Canyon southeast of Heber. Option of riding higher as singletrack turns steep and ugly. Not to be confused with Center Trail in Diamond Fork area. Season May through October.

The Co-op Creek Trail is gentle singletrack climbing along the side of Co-op Creek to an elevation of 8,900 feet. Out-and-back is 8 miles. Great views in the lower canyon, pretty aspen forest higher up. For the hard-core, add the Chicken Creek ATV route and the singletrack Sleepy Hollow trail for 12.5 miles climbing to 10,000 feet. Season June through September.

Soapstone Basin. High-altitude ATV loop with 1600 feet of climbing, starting at 8500 feet. About 15 miles, intermediate technical but strenuous. Season July through mid-October.

High Star trail system. 10 miles of trail on mountain east of Kamas, easy to intermediate in tech requirement. Many one-way flow trails. Season mid-May through October.

Jordanelle Perimeter. Follows shoreline of Jordanelle Reservoir around the north end, from Hailstone on the west to the Nature Center at the east end. Some up-and-down, easier technical, but a longer ride. Season mid-April through October.

Little South Fork of Provo. Singletrack downhill in the canyon of the Little South Fork from the top of the ridgeline. Mostly forested riding, some views. Long loop with paved and dirt road (significant climb) or shuttle. Up-and-back possible. Intermediate technical with some advanced sections, significant altitude change. Season June through September.

North Fork Scenic Byway. Cindered broad trail above the Provo River in the Uintas. Short, but can connect to Beaver Creek or White Pine for longer ride. Easy technical, light climb. Season June through September.

Notch Mountain. Mean Uinta Mountain trail tours several lakes, with a tricky descent and a rough and brutal major climb. Advanced technical. Season June through September, check with ranger to see if trail is open to bicycles.

Oakley Trail Park. Trail system includes downhill-only for beginners, intermediates, and experts. Connects to Oakley and Seymour Canyon trails. Season June through November.

Provo North Fork. Doubletrack ride through a fairly flat area in the lower Uinta Mountains. Pine forest. Easy technical, slight climb. Season June through September.

Rail Trail. Broad, cindered trail over the old Union Pacific railroad route, 30 miles with multiple trailheads. Some areas flat, Wanship to Park City is moderate climb. Very easy technical. Season April through November.

Rio Oso trail system. 10 trails along the Bear River in Evanston, access through Bear River State Park. Season mid-May through early November.

Rockport Lakeview Trail. Easy trail on the east side of Rockport Reservoir. Requires state park entry fee. Very easy technical, suitable for beginners and families. Season May through early November.

Rocky Top (Kamas Valley Overlook). Easier-intermediate singletrack climb from the Provo River to an overlook above the Kamas Valley. Season May through October.. Shingle Creek. Short singletrack follow Shingle Creek uphill as an out-and-back. Intermediate technical, mild climb. Mostly forested riding, no vistas. Season June through September.

Slate Creek. Fun and scenic trail system close to Kamas, purpose-built for mountain biking. Located across the road from the lower end of Beaver Creek. Several one-way loop options from beginner to upper-intermediate. Updated June 2024 for new trail. Season mid-June through September.

Sleepy Hollow. This is a scenic but stiff climb in the hills north of Strawberry Reservoir. The view from 10,000 feet is spectacular. Can be done as an 8 mile (round trip) out-and-back with 1800 feet of climbing, or as part of a loop ride including Co-op Creek. Season June through September.. Strawberry Narrows. Must-Ride Trail! This is a high-voltage scenic ride. To do the whole thing as an out-and-back is 24 miles, but there's a nice 16-miler from the eastern end that hits all the stuff you want to ride. We suggest starting at the eastern end, riding what you want, then turning back. The trail rolls up and down, for about 2400 total climbing for the whole 24 miles.

Willow Creek 001. This beautiful singletrack trail is located near Strawberry Reservoir at 8000 feet. It can be ridden as a 4-mile out-and-back with gentle climbing, or as part of a longer 14-mile ride described in our guide. Suitable for beginners. Season June through mid-October.

Wolverine Ridge. Forested ATV trail system on the north slope of the Uinta Mountains, near the Bear River. Rides vary from short-and-easy to long-and-brutal. Lily Lake is a nice ride for families; Wolverine Loop is for advanced riders. Season June through September.
