Rider should be well rested before starting tests. Set
Powertap to "AV" for average watts. Rider accelerates to riding pace
starting 5 seconds before start. Press buttons to clear Powertap 3 seconds
before start of timed period. Note reading at end of period, before rider starts
to slow. During 30-minute test, note average heart rate (in beats per minute)
during last 20 minutes. This is the Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR).
