Alpine Perimeter (Alpine, Draper). Technical trail rolls around the foothills above Alpine. Climbs doubletrack Hog Hollow, makes a hairy singletrack descent to Fort Canyon, rolls over to Dry Creek via "First Blood Chute," then into Lambert Park. Advanced technical, moderate climbing. Season April through November. Note - some portions of trail lost to development.
Big Spring Hollow (South Fork of Provo Canyon).  A Must-Ride Classic! Short-but-sweet singletrack loop in the South Fork of Provo Canyon. Meadows, forested riding, a few views of the mountains. Mild climbing, low-intermediate technical. Season May through October.
Bonneville Shoreline - Orem to Pleasant Grove (Orem, Pleasant Grove). 4.5 miles out-and-back, with around 600 feet of climbing each way. Option of loop ride via road return. Foothill area with views over Utah Valley. Season April through November.
Bonneville Shoreline - Provo Canyon (near Bridal Veil Falls on Parkway). Must-Ride!  Short singletrack climbs from the Provo River Parkway up to viewpoints overlooking Utah Valley. Moderate climb, intermediate technical, lower altitude. Season May through October.
Bonneville Shoreline - Provo City (Provo). Broad trail, usually doubletrack, contouring along the mountains above Provo from Rock Canyon to Slate Canyon. Follows the shoreline of prehistoric Lake Bonneville. Easier technical, a little climbing, lower altitude. Hot in afternoons. Season March through November, often open in winter.
Five-mile Pass (West of Eagle Mountain). ATV-track loop west of Lehi used for bike races, often clear to ride in winter. Juniper and sage with some views. Frequent but short stiff climbs. Loose rock makes this an upper-intermediate trail. Season March through November, often open in winter.
Grove Creek (Pleasant Grove). Up-and-back or downhill trail for advanced riders. (Most riders do this ride as a shuttled DH.) Fairly steep, exposed cliffsides, trail surface often technical. Hobble Creek paved trail (Springville). Wide paved trail climbs lower Hobble Creek canyon, beginning in town and extending past the golf course to Rotary Park. 4.5 miles, 350 feet of climbing. Very easy ride, suitable for families with small children. Season March-December.
Hog Hollow (Alpine).  Broad-track old roadway climbs from Alpine to the top of Traverse Ridge. This is a local favorite for winter-time riding, although the upper part will be a hike-a-bike after snowstorms.. In summer easy technical; in winter advanced. Connects Alpine to Draper's fabulous trail system. Season anytime.
Jordan River Parkway (Lehi). Paved foot, bike, and rollerblade trail along the Jordan River, from Utah Lake to the Jordan Narrows. Park for family picnics. Not crowded. Easy easy easy technical. Season March through November, but often clear of snow in winter.
Kris' 051 Loop (Orem). Loop ride in the foothills on the southwest side of Mount Timpanogos, including a section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Intermediate technical, some steepish spots but not too strenuous. 7 miles with 1700 vertical feet of climbing. Season April through early December.
Lambert Park (Alpine). A Must-Ride Classic!  11 miles of singletrack loops on Alpine City land at the base of East Mountain. Views of Lone Peak and Dry Creek Canyon. Upper-intermediate technical, some loops involve a bit of climbing. Season March through early December. Some portions may be open in winter.
Little Baldy (Orem). Tough climb up the south side of Mount Timpanogos. Advanced technical with narrow trail, very strenuous. Options out-and-back, or two possible loop rides. Ride described is 11.5 miles with 2700 feet of climbing. Season June through October.
Mercer Canyon (Lake Mountain summit) (South of Eagle Mountain). Hillclimb from Utah Lake to the summit of Lake Mountain. Gravel doubletrack. Fairly long, substantial vertical, but easy technical. Season  late April through November.
Orem Bench to GWT (Orem, Provo Canyon). This trail follows the north side of lower Provo Canyon, from Canyon Glen to the outskirts of Orem. Singletrack plus doubletrack. Hot in afternoons. Season late March through October, doubletrack is often open all winter on dirt or packed snow. Map includes Orem section, Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
Provo Canyon Race Loop (Provo Canyon, Orem). A Classic!  Singletrack loop above the water pipeline in lower Provo Canyon. A little climbing, intermediate technical. Views up the canyon. Season April through October.
Provo River Parkway (Provo, Provo Canyon). Paved foot, bike, and rollerblade trail extends from downtown Provo up Provo Canyon past Bridal Veil Falls. Mostly shaded, good views of canyon walls. Easy technical, but good bike control required for youngsters to avoid collisions with multiple trail users. Season March through November.
Thanksgiving Point (Lehi). This trail is a flat-track race loop. It packs 10 miles into a small area surrounding Thanksgiving Point. There's little elevation change on this twisting singletrack. Season March through November. [Trail not maintained. Please ask local bike shop or call the Point for current status.]
