"Double Cross Weekend" Wheeler Farm
Murray - October 31, 2009 and November 1, 2009

Everyone has plans for Halloween night!  But, when Halloween falls on a weekend, what is there to do on a Halloween morning or afternoon?  Many UMB Cross Riders decided why not give the Double Cross Weekend at Wheeler Farm a try..

Masters 45+:  Saturday

Above: Soups up!  The soup served on this beautiful fall day was cheese and broccoli.  Get it while its' hot. Center: Many spectators showed up in costume to cheer on their racers.  Wheeler Farm is a very spectator friendly course. Above: Pepe Le Pew watches as the riders go by.

Women C: Saturday

Left: Yes, we're still at Wheeler Farm.
One racer dressed up as a triathlete
for the costume contest and did a
swim in the pond during one of his
laps.  Then like all good triathletes,
he quickly made it through his T1
before he was back on the bike.

In this Double Cross Weekend, the UMB Cross Team had 17 different riders compete in 25 races.  It was by far, our best showing to date.
