Mother Nature again smiled the Utah Cyclocross Series granting beautiful weather to the riders in Heber City.

Left:  Mike Engberson rounds the corner to come down the hill.
Category Men C:

Left:  Who says cross doesn't pay.  Dan Hutchings
tucks a dollar into his back pocket 
on his final lap to take 34th place.

Right:  Super cross fan Chris Fox dresses up
in his swamp man suit to cheer on 
the riders.

Masters 55+: UMB Cross Team had no Masters 55+ riders!
Masters 45+:

Left:  Jay Griffin races down "Mount Heber"  and rolls
into 4th place.

Right:  The UMB Cross Team has some of the
best looking bikes and riders on the course.

Masters 35+ B: UMB Cross Team had no riders in this category
Masters 35+ C: 

Left:  In his first race of the cross season,
Mike Engberson powers up "Mount Heber".
Unfortunately, the dime sized goat heads 
prevailed against Mike's tube to give
him a DNF.


Women A: UMB Cross Team had no Women A riders!
Women B: UMB Cross Team had no Women B riders!
Women C:  
Juniors:  UMB Cross Team had no Junior riders!
Men B:

Left:  Justin Griffin goes up and over the obstacles to take the 9th spot. 

Right:  Stephen Brown flies over the barrier
and up the hill to take the 15th spot.

 

Singlespeed: UMB Cross Team had no Singlespeed riders!
Men A: UMB Cross Team had no Men A riders!
Masters 35+ A: UMB Cross Team had no Masters 35+ A riders!

The UMB Cross team was running on a skeleton crew for this race.  Despite the low turnout, we still put forth a good showing.
